OOC; character/mun information

Character Information


Most who are playing with him likely know about Hakuouki’s incarnation of him, but for some extra information on the real Okita Souji (and ultimately, where I pull a good chunk of his headcanon from), here are some resources! one, two.

His url name, sandanzuki, comes from the name of one of his custom and signature moves he developed from the Tennen Rishin Ryuu style. It translates to “three stage thrust,” and was a move that delivered three successive strikes to the neck and shoulders.

Mun Information

I can be found OOCly at ochimizu! I’ve been in the Hakuouki fandom since early 2010, and I’ve been studying bakumatsu/shinsengumi history for the last two years. My ooc account is where I post information about the historical Shinsengumi, and also where I do all my reblogging of OOC stuff outside of mun-chatter.

In addition to that, most of my time RPing is spent on dreamwidth, where I have a bit more in the way of committed character relationships. My Okita account over there is sandanzuki; it’s also where I grab all of the icons I use RPing here. All credits are contained there — I never use an icon that isn’t somehow credited to its maker as a personal rule! Anything not found on that account that I use was made by me!

I’ll always do my best to give an accurate portrayal of Okita, and I’m always open to criticism. I should note that if you’re going to anonymously flame, it’ll be deleted and ignored. If you can’t approach me with maturity, you don’t get acknowledgment from me, sorry. This is my hobby, and I refuse to get upset or stressed out over people being vicious, so just take that as a warning.
