“You know, mundane-chan…”
Okita’s eyes narrowed on the young woman, a strange meld of boredom and annoyance having flickered in his expression as he spoke. Unamused? To say the least, and he had no qualms in letting her now.
“It’s getting pretty boring. If you think you’re going to just forget about us again—”
“…You’ll kill me, right? I know.” She let out a sigh, defiant in the face of someone who she knew was very much good for his word. At the very least, she wasn’t lying. She knew it, and she meant what she’d promised. There was no intent to run away or disappear.
There were just… distractions. Not terribly important ones, but they’d kept her from being able to focus.
“Can’t you just… wait a couple of days? Really, Okita-san!! I’m definitely going to when I feel better.”
“…Better? Or when your hand is completely molds in the shape of that Playstation controller and your eyes are going to shoot lasers?”
The only thing worse than dealing with one Okita was dealing with two. And that was what she had facing her. Neither was amused, though one clearly understood the situation better than the other.
“Really, you’re ignoring us to try and get a platinum trophy? What a weird girl, hahaha!”
………And as condescending as ever, of course. Not that it mattered in the least, neither Okita was going to let it slide.
“Well, it doesn’t really matter. Hurry up, because if you don’t get back to this soon…”
“…We really will kill you this time.”
